The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan was created with every driver in mind. The new digital cockpit is configurable, user-friendly, and allows for NAV details to be viewed with an optional full-screen map. The Tiguan has a 15.3-gallon gasoline tank capacity, which happens to be a perfect size for an SUV. This capacity is coupled with the standard Front-wheel drive setup that keeps performing in any situation. The available 4MOTION® AWD equips a larger fuel tank of 15.9 gallons and also uses four different all-wheel drive modes: Snow Mode, Off-Road, On-Road, and Off-Road Custom Mode.
The Tiguan has a driving range of over 459 miles on just one tank of gas. The base model gets 23 city MPG and an impressive 30 miles per gallon highway which averages to 26mpg combined. If you choose all-wheel drive, you’ll receive 29 miles per gallon on the highway and 22 miles per gallon in the city, meaning you can tackle every road trip you can dream of.
Every Tiguan uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 184 horsepower. This eight-speed automatic transmission allows for smooth shifting, and with the available Tiptronic® driving mode, you can opt to shift manually and really feel some power at the wheel. FWD is standard in most Tiguan models, but there is an optional AWD with 4MOTION®, for people who want to have full command at the wheel.
